Jameson Irish Whiskey Poster

An original Irish whiskey advertisement design inspired by early Dublin distillery advertising, promoting Jameson Irish Whiskey.
Printed in the 1980s using full-colour lithography, this poster comes from an original print run — not a modern digital reproduction. These prints were produced in limited quantities and supplied to pubs as décor. When this stock is gone, it is gone.
These advertisements once appeared across pubs and spirit grocers in Ireland. This poster is a later print, produced in the 1980s and supplied to pubs as part of their décor.
A vintage Jameson Irish whiskey advertisement poster inspired by early Dublin distillery designs.
This rare advertisement poster promotes John Jameson & Son long before the distillery became the globally recognised Jameson brand we know today.

John Jameson, a Scottish businessman, purchased the Bow Street Distillery in Dublin in 1780. It was not long before his chief brand, Jameson Irish Whiskey, would become internationally popular. The Bow Street distillery was producing around 30,000 gallons annually, rising to over a million gallons by the early nineteenth century.
Today, these posters are recognised as part of the character of traditional Irish pubs — bringing that same sense of place into a home, bar or interior space.
Perfect for:
- Home bars and kitchens
- Irish pubs and restaurants
- Vintage advertising collectors
- Fans of Jameson and Irish whiskey heritage
