This rare advertisement poster promotes John Jameson & Son limited edition whiskey long before the distillery became the recognised Jameson brand we know today.
John Jameson was a Scottish businessman and in 1780 he purchased the Bow Street Distillery in Dublin. It was not long before his chief brand, Jameson Irish Whiskey, would become internationally popular. The Bow Street distillery was previously producing around 30,000 gallons annually but by the turn of the nineteenth century the distillery was producing over a million gallons.
This exciting poster has been faithfully reproduced from original and rare 1st edition prints. It is approximately 24" x 18" (60cms x 45cms) and has been produced in Ireland on durable high quality 170gsm Art paper.
